For the NGV Triennial showcase at Chadstone, Studio John Fish, commissioned by Gloss Creative, realized Azuma Makoto’s visionary botanical installation. The piece featured a large custom-built steel frame with stainless steel pots on a matte black base. Balancing creative vision with practical constraints like weight limits and installation time, Studio John Fish crafted an exceptional hybrid sculpture that strikingly juxtaposed organic elements with man-made materials.
